Playing together

Woking Dominoes is a free casual scorekeeping and club-history app. Any future paid service would be explained separately before you chose to pay; using this version creates no subscription. Adults aged 18 or over may join and use it. Children may participate only through a profile operated by an adult providing direct supervision. The adult must be the child’s parent or guardian, or have their parent’s or guardian’s permission for the participation and public nickname and scores. The adult agrees to these terms, operates the profile and directly supervises play. Explain the simple privacy guidance to the child and respect their wishes if they do not want to take part. Use a made-up nickname and emoji for a child, and never upload a child’s photograph or identifying details.

The app does not provide betting, payments or prizes. The drinks feature is an optional social record, not a requirement to buy or consume alcohol. Do not use it to pressure another player.

Your profile and contributions

Use your own player profile. Do not impersonate someone, share a game code beyond the invited table, interfere with scores, exploit access controls or attempt to access admin functions without permission. Keep contributions lawful, kind and relevant. No harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, private contact details, advertising or copyright infringement.

Only adults may upload a profile photo. Use your own picture with nobody else in it and only material you have permission to use. You keep ownership of your content and give Andrew permission to store and display it as needed to operate this app. That permission does not allow sale of your content or unrelated advertising.

People with a game code can see that game’s scores, nicknames, avatars and spectator messages. Club accounts can see the wider game area, including house rules and votes. Read the privacy notice before joining. Do not post confidential or sensitive information.

Problems, reports and removal

Tell the table’s admin about a scoring mistake. Report illegal or harmful content, privacy concerns or impersonation through Help & report. Include the game date and the content concerned. Andrew may remove content, limit access or suspend misuse to protect participants and the service. You can ask Andrew to review a moderation decision by emailing the contact address.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep scores accurate and the app available, but outages and mistakes can happen. Check important scores with the table. We may fix, change or discontinue features, giving reasonable notice where practicable. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. We do not require you to waive your data-protection or consumer rights.

Changes and law

Material changes to these terms will be brought to users’ attention and may require fresh acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not remove mandatory protections or any right to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction where applicable.
